Peurs d’une jeune femme (Fears of a young woman), 2024. This work shows an all too common experience young women have, fearing what results they may see, and the reactions their peers and families will have. Supportive and understanding friendships become increasingly important in a woman’s life.

Je suis nue (I am naked), 2023. Embodying what we are taught to be flaws and what we are taught to dislike about ourselves through underarm, pubic and leg hair, chest acne, period blood and the sight of woman nipples.

Ne touche qu’avec tes yeux (Touch only with your eyes, left), and Mange (Eat), 2023. Representing both the fish markets from the southwest coast of France, and the five women in the artist’s maternal family, with a larger focus on her mother, these sardines represent the artist’s origins.

Gathering Differences, 2023

How Skin Interacts with Underlying Structures and Movement, 2023. A study of the body. A work on anti-sexualisation of the woman in a world where women are constantly observed and objectified for sexual purposes. An appreciation for the body as what it simply is; a body.

Workforce, 2023. Like women pins are sharp, both intellectually and in their work ethic, and they maintain many systems in place. They are often minimized, ridiculed or forgotten, yet they are everywhere, serving a tremendously important purpose in the workplace.

Four, 2023

Four, Three, Two, One, 2023. An exploration of the artist’s relationship with her mother and her distaste for the fish her mother always ate when she grew up.

Attendance, 2023

Bodily Autonomy, 2023. With constant pressures placed on individuals to conform and to look a certain way, the figure is both observed and restricted from all sides. A feeling that is all too frequent.

Circular Motions, 2023. Constantly circling the same spaces and thoughts. A reference to her childhood fish; Depression.

Alphabet Soup, 2021. Looking at her own experience growing up, and her role as an educator at an afterschool program, the artist looks at the ages where we begin to learn to read and write, and how much of an impact this period has on the rest of our lives.

Nutella, 2021. A childhood staple, Nutella brings back childhood memories and comfort.
